  • Eight cumulative years in the U.S. Senate, including Chief of Staff and Staff Director for the Vice Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
  • Oversaw the $80B+ operations of the Intelligence Community and crafted landmark legislation, including the FISA Amendments Act of 2008.
  • Retired Navy SEAL Commander; senior Special Operations advisor in East Africa and on Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s Strategic Advisory Group in Kabul.
  • M.S. in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University and a B.A. in History from Dartmouth College, with an executive certificate from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
  • Former Central Intelligence Agency officer and Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Richard Shelby.
